We are here as representatives of Christ within our community and around the world.
“Whether God is calling you to roll up your sleeves and serve in your own backyard or pack your bags and travel around the world, we believe He is calling all of us to the same thing – humble service to others.”
Valley View has a passion to reach out to those around us. Jesus said that we are to be witnesses both near and far. He set the standard for us to follow. Before He made the ultimate sacrifice for us, He cared for people in a number of ways – He taught them, fed them, healed them, gave them dignity, and befriended them.
Local Outreach
Blessing Our Community
Every follower of Jesus has a role in God’s life-changing work all around us, right where we live and work. Mission is more than simply writing a check or signing up for another church activity; mission is about becoming a person who is meaningfully engaged in the community as a follower of Jesus.
Below are opportunities to serve others in our community.
Unite Phoenix is a ministry for the whole valley serving with different ministries. The 2nd Saturday of each month, 9 am-12 pm. Join in blessing our city. Meet at 1017 N 13th St, Phoenix, AZ 85006 for doughnuts, worship & assignment. Contact: unitephx.org
Family Promise
We host families who are trying to get back on their feet twice a year. Volunteers needed to provide meals for the week, food donations, and more. Look for more information and sign-ups as we approach our week. Contact: familypromiseaz.org
Hope Women’s Center
A Christian non-profit organization that provides vulnerable women and teen girls with education, mentoring, and support. There are opportunities to serve daily, weekly, monthly, or for special projects. Whatever your gifts and talents, you would love to serve the women and families at Hope Women’s Center. It will be a life-transforming experience! Contact: www.hopewomenscenter.org
